In Te Ngahere we made newspaper towers for STEAM. STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. We were learning to make a free standing object with our limited amount of equipment. We were given two pieces of newspaper and 30cm of cellotape. While doing this I learnt that adding extra pieces to the top of the tower added to the height. I definitely had fun creating the tower with my buddy. Have you ever made anything for STEAM?
Hi Zara it’s Autumn. I really enjoyed your post about the STEAM challenge. it sounded like fun. You brought me back to when I did the STEAM challenge. Our tower was 75 cm tall. I really liked how you added what you were learning and what you learnt but I think you could have added a little bit more detail to your post but other than that I really enjoyed your blog post about the STEAM challenge.
ReplyDeleteHow long did it take to build your tower?
Make sure to keep up the good work and check out my blog at: https://psautumnw.blogspot.com/
Kia ora Zara My name is Kaitlin I am a year 6 in Te Ngahere. I really liked your post about the Steam newspaper tower that we made together. I liked that you added a photo of it because it reminded me of what it looked like. That was so fun creating it together. Did you enjoy making the tower?
