STELLA CREATE

In Te Ngahere a lady named Stella came to our school and talked to us about our native bird the kiwi and pests like: possums, stoats, wild cats and wild dogs. The day after that we got into pairs and chose what we wanted to make the options were a: play, animation, a piece of writing or news report. My friend and I made a play and we recorded it and put it into an imovie. We had to add a fact or a message that tells people about our native bird. Our play was about a person walking her dog with no leash and it ran into the bush and killed a Kiwi. I learnt that Kiwis get transported to a pest free island when they are babies and when they are old enough they get taken back to the bush. I enjoyed learning new things about Kiwi, Possums, Stoats and more.
