Kai Term 3 Week 6

In Te Maunga we made a slide about Kai. We wrote some questions down and answered them in Te Reo Maori. We also translated fruit in English to Te Reo Maori. Then we wrote down things that we would have in our kitchen and translated them. We also did work about fishing kei te hi ika a ___ ( Mama, Papa, Kuia or Koro. We taste tested some items and said if they were sweet or sour. Some were spicy! Mrs Pou gave us peper. I am scared for life.

Math Goals

In Te Maunga we have been writing our math goals for this term. We have a lot of different goals to hopefully achieve. We had to use the goals that we didn’t achieve last term. Mrs Pou had our test that we took at the end of last term. Mrs Pou highlighted the things that we need to work on from the sheet then we would write them down. We also had to write down things off the stage that we are on. I am on stage 7 so I would get some things off the strategy and the knowledge sheets on the wall.

Writing Goals Term 3

In Te Maunga we have been writing down our goals for writing that we didn’t achieve last term. We had spelling goals, writing goals and organisation. Our writing goals were punctuation and language features. Our spelling goals could be suffixes and prefixes and so on. The teacher will have a workshop on one of the subjects.😎
